Netflix Creating Live-Action ‘Zelda’ Series

Netflix is working on a live-action series adaptation of The Legend of Zelda. The streaming service is working closely with Nintendo developing the series as “Game of Thrones for a family audience.”

Netflix is looking for a writer for the project. Nintendo is know for being very protective of their intellectual property, particularly after the infamous Super Mario Bros. movie in 1993 which bombed both critically and commercially.
