Porsha’s ‘Empire Recap: Episode 7, Our Dancing Days

If you’re a fan of FOX’s hit new show Empire, then you’re probably also a fan of Cookie’s tell-it-like-it-is personal assistant Porsha, played hilariously by acting newcomer Ta’Rhonda Jones.

This week’s episode of the show, that’s still rising in ratings in its sixth week, was arguably one of the juiciest yet. We saw Jamal and his boyfriend end their relationship, while Lucious and Cookie re-ignited the old flame. Lucious also finally told his family that he’s been suffering from ALS after a scare in the Empire office and losing his voice at the showcase.

Lucious’ fiancee Anika was also busy…ruining the business. After all the work Cookie went through to get Empire’s resident diva Elle Dallas (played by guest star Courtney Love) clean and on her feet, Anika (who can’t deal with Cookie constantly one-upping her) pulled the Jenga piece that made the whole Elle tower come crumbling down (read: she spiked Elle’s drink with coke).
