‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Star Jamie Dornan Snags Lead in World War II Drama

Fifty Shades of Grey star Jamie Dornan has signed on to lead a new World War Two drama amid rumors he is quitting the erotic thriller franchise after just one film.

The Northern Irish actor has been cast in Anthropoid, a thriller which also features Cillian Murphy, according to Variety.

The film centers around two Czech soldiers who are trained by British troops and assigned to assassinate Nazi general Reinhard Heydrich, who was nicknamed The Butcher of Prague.

The casting news comes just days after reports Dornan had pulled out of plans to appear in the sequels to Fifty Shades of Grey because his wife Amelia Warner felt uncomfortable with the raunchy sex scenes.

His representative has since dismissed the story, telling Dailymail.co.uk, “All press reports are pure conjecture as the studio has not committed to a sequel as yet.”

Do you think there’s still a possibility that Dornan has left the series? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
