‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Leads 2015 MTV Movie Awards Nominations (Full List)

Guardians of the Galaxy, The Fault in Our Stars, and Zac Efron’s comedy Neighbors will lead the pack at this years MTV Movie Awards after landing seven nominations apiece.

The films will go head to head for the Movie Of The Year prize at the ceremony along with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 and awards season favorites American Sniper, Boyhood, Selma, Whiplash and Gone Girl.

The Fault in our Stars actress Shailene Woodley will battle The Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence for the Best Female Performance prize, along with Emma Stone (Birdman), Reese Witherspoon (Wild) and Scarlett Johansson (Lucy).

Woodley ‘s The Fault in Our Stars co-star Ansel Elgort will compete in the Best Male Performance category, going up against Hollywood heavyweights including Bradley Cooper for American Sniper and Channing Tatum for Foxcatcher, as well as Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Miles Teller (Whiplash).

Elgort will also compete for Best Breakthrough Performance with Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl), David Oyelowo (Selma), Dylan O’Brien (The Maze Runner) and Ellar Coltrane (Boyhood).

Other awards up for grabs include the Best Scared-As-S**t-Performance, Best Shirtless Performance, Best Duo, Best Kiss, Best Fight, Best WTF Moment, Best Villain, Best Musical Moment, Best Comedic Performance and Best On-Screen Transformation.
