‘Uptown Funk!’ Tops Singles Charts for Ninth Week

Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk!” has scored a ninth week at the top of the pop charts, becoming one of only four songs to lead the countdown on both sides of the Atlantic for at least seven weeks.

Only Bryan Adams’ “(Everything I Do) I Do It for You”; Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You,” and Rihanna’s “Umbrella” have managed the feat.

Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” comes in second on the Billboard Hot 100 for a seventh week, while Maroon 5’s “Sugar” rises to three.

Ellie Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do” slides to four and Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney’s “FourFiveSeconds” returns to the top five at five.

You can watch Bruno get down in the “Uptown Funk!” music video below (just know that this song will be stuck in your head for the rest of the day. Sorry.):
