MTV Releases Season 2 Trailer for Atlanta-Filmed ‘Finding Carter’

The second season of MTV’s hit drama series Finding Carter has been released and things get more intense as the search for a re-kidnapped Carter continues.

Season two of the family drama series picks up right after the season finale’s cliffhanger and newly kidnapped Carter (Kathryn Prescott) is more scared than ever. What Carter learns will shake the foundation of her already fragile family to its core, as the biggest secrets of all are yet to be revealed.

Although it sounds like things will get harder for Carter before they get easier, fans will be excited to learn that Alex Saxon, who plays fan favorite Max, joins the cast this season as a series regular.

Watch the emotional trailer below:

The Atlanta-filmed series stars Kathryn Prescott as “Carter Stevens” (“Skins”), Cynthia Watros as “Elizabeth Wilson” (“Lost”), Anna Jacoby-Heron as “Taylor Wilson” (“Contagion”), Alexis Denisof as “David Wilson” (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer”/ “Angel”), Alex Saxon as “Max” (“The Fosters”) and Zac Pullam as “Grant.” The series also features Milena Govich as “Lori” (“Law and Order”), Meredith Baxter as “Grandma Joan” (“Family Ties”), Robert Pine as “Grandpa Buddy” (“CHiPs”) and Eddie Matos as “Kyle.”

MTV will premiere the first eight minutes of the series on the MTV App on Monday March 23rd at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT, and Finding Carter Season 2 premieres Tuesday March 31 at 10/9c.

  1. I am so excited that Alex Saxon is a regular on the show now!!!! It’s funny, you can even now find his name on the Comcast actor search so I can set up an “auto record” for him now, so very excited. I can’t wait for season 2, it looks very exciting. I wonder how they got Crash out of jail after shooting Max almost to death. All I can say is I hope there’s a lot of Max, hopefully with Taylor, but I’m fine if it’s not, as long as he’s in every episode with lots of screen time! Is it March 31st yet?!!!

  2. And I hope they add that new song from Carly Rae Jepsen “I REALLY LIKE YOU” because she said ‘I Really Really Really Really Really Really Like You’ (SIX TIMES), which is Max and Taylor’s way of saying I love you. That’d be so sweet if they do that, I don’t know how they can’t because if you watch Finding Carter, and you’ve heard that new song, then you were counting the “really’s” that she says and automatically thought of Finding Carter’s Max & Taylor! Looking forward to it!
