HBO Releases New ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 5 Trailer


HBO has released a new trailer for the season 5 premiere of their hit fantasy show Game of Thrones.

The series kicks off its ten-episode fifth season in April and the new trailer gives fans glimpses into what’s in store for their favorite characters this season, including Dany preparing to “break the wheel,” Sansa in (what appears to be) the crypts of Winterfell, Oberyn’s daughters the Sand Snakes kicking some butt, a Margaery and Tommen wedding and so much more!

The network also recently announced their new standalone premium streaming service, HBO NOW, which will launch in April in time for the fifth season of Game of Thrones.

Among the returning members of the ensemble cast are Emmy® and Golden Globe winner Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Kit Harington, Alfie Allen, Diana Rigg, Natalie Dormer, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, Conleth Hill and Gwendoline Christie.

New cast members that will be joining them this season include Jonathan Pryce, Alexander Siddig and Keisha Castle-Hughes.

Brace yourselves…Winter returns to HBO on April 12 at 9PM.

  1. It looks like Jonathan Pryce plays a really big part in this season. I saw him several times in there and always with a demeanor of authority. Should be good!
