Beyonce Extends Well Wishes to Cancer-Stricken Backup Singer

Beyonce has sent her well wishes to her backing singer Tiffany Monique Riddick as she battles cancer.

The hitmaker took to her website to post a picture of the musician and added the caption, “We love you Tiffany. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Love, Beyonce.”

Riddick is a member of The Mamas, Beyonce’s three-piece group of backing singers, and has performed with the star for more than nine years.

Beyonce’s message came just days after Riddick took to Facebook to update fans on her progress, writing, “Fevers, a-fib (abnormal heart beat), no food or water since last Tuesday, quite a bit of pain and a lot of fatigue today. I’m finally ‘comfortable’ so I’m gonna get some sleep while the going is good… ‪#‎fckcancer‬ ‪#‎godsgotthis‬ ‪#‎bravethestorm‬.”
