Jack Huston Set to Star in ‘The Crow’ Remake

Jack Huston is officially set to take over the titular role originated by Brandon Lee in the 1994 film, The Crow.

According to Deadline, Huston will begin working on the film, based on the dark James O’Barr graphic novel, after he wraps work on the Ben-Hur remake, another impressive film the actor has on his roster.

The movie’s original producer Edward R. Pressman, along with Relativity Studios and director Corin Hardy all had their hearts set on Huston on for the lead role in the new adaptation of the story, which follows tragic vigilante Eric Draven on his quest for vengeance (if you haven’t seen the original, I’d highly recommend it) and it looks like everyone’s gotten what they wanted.

Production for the remake of The Crow is expected to begin in 2016.

Are you onboard with The Crow remake? What are your thoughts on Jack’s casting? Is there anyone else you’d like to see involved with the film? Sound off in the comments below.
