‘Mad Men’ Star Jon Hamm Finishes Rehab

Mad Men star Jon Hamm is clean and sober after completing a 30-day rehab stint in Connecticut.

The actor, who plays boozy, hard-living Don Draper on Mad Men, checked into the Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan last month.

A publicist for Hamm spoke with press saying, “With the support of his longtime partner Jennifer Westfeldt, Jon Hamm recently completed treatment for his struggle with alcohol addiction. They have asked for privacy and sensitivity going forward.”

Hamm had previously been questioned before by press asking about similarities between himself and his Mad Men character. “I don’t drink as much as Don Draper,” Hamm said in a 2012 interview with Daily Mail. “I would be unconscious if I did.”

Hamm was reportedly enjoying a bourbon on the rocks during the interview. We’re glad that he sought out help and is doing well now!

Mad Men returns for its final season on AMC on April 5th.
