John Stamos Confirms ‘Full House’ Spinoff on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

John Stamos confirmed that a Full House spinoff is indeed happening and that Netflix has already ordered a full season of the series.

Rumors have been swirling about the series’ return for a while now and
Stamos visited Jimmy Kimmel Live last night and revealed the news saying, “I’m going to give you the exclusive. Five minutes ago they called. They sealed the deal.”

When the show, titled Fuller House, returns, there will be 13 episodes, starting with a one hour special that will serve as a reunion for the Tanner family. As we previously reported, the brains behind the project are series original creator, Jeff Franklin, who would be an executive producer along with Thomas L. Miller and Robert L. Boyett, both of who were EP’s with the original series run as well.

Jimmy asked John about which cast members would be returning to the series and John revealed that this reincarnation of the hit series will be focused on DJ Tanner and her three sons, Stephanie Tanner and DJ’s ever-present bff, Kimmy Gibbler.
