NBC’s ‘First Dates’ Looking to Cast Georgia Singles

In Georgia and looking for love? If so, we’ve got the casting call for you! One of the casting producers from NBC’s new series First Dates reached out to us about the series. It will be casting singles out of Georgia who are interested in going on a televised first date. The show will interview all accepted applicants and then set them up with someone who shares similar interests. It’s not a competition show. There won’t be any eliminations – just a first date. Where it goes from there is up to you!

NBC has ordered 8 episodes of the hour-long series which is described as an observational documentary series that takes a peek at what happens when a couple meets for the first time – and love may be in the air. First Dates comes to NBC from executive producer Ellen DeGeneres and Shed Media. It’s based on a U.K. series which offers an authentic look at a variety of real first dates happening over one night at the same restaurant.

First Dates is searching for people genuinely looking for love, ages 18 to 65+ who are currently single. Production will begin in July in Chicago.
