Bob Saget Defends Olsen Twins’ Decision to Pass on ‘Fuller House’

Former Full House dad Bob Saget has opened up about his feelings regarding the Olsen twins passing on the opportunity to reunite with their castmates in the upcoming spinoff Fuller House.

Access Hollywood caught up with the star at the Entourage premiere yesterday and when they asked him about how he felt about Fuller House’s lack of Michelle, he offered his opinion on the matter.

“I’m not [upset they are not returning]. I’m not because I love them and I want them to do what they want to do and everybody should do what they want to do,” Saget told them.

He added,”They love everybody, I mean, I love them, people should do what they want to do,” he continued. “I think people that are doing [the new series] are excited that they are doing it. Nobody is feeling anything but happiness that people want to see [these characters] again.”

Fuller House will follow oldest Tanner sister DJ (Candace Cameron-Bure), now a recent widow and mother of 2 with one on the way. She opens her home to her sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) , bff Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) and her teenage daughter and the three will try and navigate life similar to the way it was done for them.

In addition to Bob, former Full House stars Lori Loughlin, Dave Coulier and John Stamos are confirmed to appear in the series.
