As HUGE lovers of pets, we were excited to watch the new trailer for Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures upcoming film The Secret Life Of Pets, and thankfully we weren’t disappointed.

The movie’s title makes the plot pretty self explanatory. The Secret Life Of Pets will give us a fun look at what happens when we all leave our furry friends for work or school every day. The movie is being produced by Illumination founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and his longtime collaborator Janet Healy. Chris Renaud (Despicable Me, Despicable Me 2) will direct with Yarrow Cheney co-directing. The script was penned by Brian Lynch and Cinco Paul & Ken Daurio.

If you’re wondering about the cast, it’ll only make you want to see the movie more. Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet and Kevin Hart make their animated feature-film debuts, and Ellie Kemper, Lake Bell, Jenny Slate, Bobby Moynihan, Hannibal Buress and Albert Brooks are set to co-star.

You can watch the adorable trailer below:

The Secret Life Of Pets hits theaters July 8, 2016.
