Melissa Rivers Joins ‘Fashion Police’ as New Co-Host

Melissa Rivers has officially stepped in to fill her mother, the late Joan Rivers, Fashion Police shoes.

The network announced today that Rivers would be moving from behind-the-scenes to onscreen, joining current co-hosts Giuliana Rancic and Brad Goreski, while continuing to serve as executive producer on the series.

“As an executive producer since the beginning, Melissa helped shape Fashion Police into an iconic TV series that couples fashion with comedy,” said Jeff Olde, Executive Vice President, Programming and Development for E! in a statement. “We are pleased to now also feature Melissa in front of the Fashion Police cameras, as she joins returning panelists Giuliana and Brad. And with the added flavor of rotating panelists, the show will deliver fresh, different and unpredictable fashion reviews with each new episode.”

Melissa adds, “I’m very excited to be given the opportunity to continue to work with my E! and Fashion Police family.”

In addition to being instrumental behind-the-scenes at Fashion Police, some of Melissa’s other accomplishments include creating the Red Carpet franchise and phenomenon, together with her mother Joan, starring in four seasons of WEtv’s Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best? making the New York Times best-selling list thanks to her book The Book of Joan: Tales of Mirth, Mischief, and Manipulation and so much more.

Fashion Police returns Monday, August 31st on E!.
