‘Ghostbusters’ Director Paul Feig Shares First Look at New Suits and Proton Packs

Ghostbusters director Paul Feig has given fans a first look at the gear his new defenders against the supernatural will be wearing in the reboot.

The director revealed the new Ghostbuster suits with a tweet that simply reads, “#whatyougonnawear”. Today, he tweeted out an equally simple statement giving fans a look at the updated proton packs which says, “#whatyougonnashoot”.

It appears as if Feig and co. are trying to keep everything as close to the original as possible, which could fare well for fans who may have been (and still are) worried about the female-led reboot.

The new Ghostbusters film stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones as the supernatural fighting quartet. Chris Hemsworth recently joined the cast in a supporting lead role and will play the “assistant to the band of ghostbusting gals “who nobody wants to work with.”

Ghostbusters is scheduled to hit theaters July 22, 2016.
