Netflix Releases Star-Studded ‘Wet Hot American Summer: First Day Of Camp’ Trailer

0

The first trailer for Netflix’s highly anticipated Wet Hot American Summer reboot series is here, and you’ll be hard-pressed to find another that packs in anywhere near the same amount of star power.

Wet Hot American Summer: First Day Of Camp is the prequel series to their 2001 cult film, which took a look at the goings on of a summer camp, Camp Firewood, on it’s last day. The Neflix prequel will instead take place on the first day of camp, back in 1981.

All of the original’s favorite counselors and camp staff are back including Elizabeth Banks, H. Jon Benjamin, Michael Ian Black, Bradley Cooper, Janeane Garofalo, Nina Hellman, David Hyde Pierce, Joe Lo Truglio, Ken Marino, AD Miles, Christopher Meloni, Marguerite Moreau, Zak Orth, Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd, Marisa Ryan, Molly Shannon and Michael Showalter, along with some new famous faces.

Before you stop by Camp Firewood, here are some reminders for all new campers, per Netflix:

  • Remember to wear suntan lotion.
  • It’s totally normal to cry on the first night of camp.
  • The sign up sheet for archery is posted on the target. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHILE SIGNING UP FOR ARCHERY!
  • Poison ivy is real.
  • Also, all new counselors, please report immediately for orientation and a mandatory STD check.
