'Girl Meets World' Sneak Peek - Episode 2.12: Girl Meets the New Teacher

Girl Meets World is bringing another Boy Meets World fave to the show when a new teacher at Riley and Maya’s school is up against some pushback by the principal, because of her unique teaching methods.

Anthony Tyler Quinn aka the eternally cool Mr. Turner will make his GMW debut in this episode, which makes sense as he was the Cory’s former teacher with unique methods (and Shawn’s almost-dad) in Boy Meets World. We totally think Cory will call in the Mr. Turner calvary to help defend the new teacher (which is a WAY better reason to come back than Angela had…sorry, we’re still bitter about that one.)

“From his first line he is Mr. Turner, grown a little,” Jacobs told our friends over at IBT about Quinn. “Such an authority and so wonderful that, how [Rowan Blanchard] responds to [Ben Savage] as teacher, Ben must respond to Tony as teacher.When you see that I think it illustrates this series. You go one jump Rowan to Ben, and then we ask you to jump again. It’s a lovely episode.”
