Katniss Rules in New ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2’ Motion Poster

Katniss has a new look in the latest The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 motion poster and we aren’t just talking about that awesome red Mockingjay suit.

The living symbol of the rebellion not only looks ultra snazzy in her rebellion red mockingjay suit, but more importantly looks confident and determined as she prepares to lead the charge in an all out war against the Capital.

The new motion poster, released via Snapchat this morning, pans out from Katniss to reveal she’s standing on a three-finger salute statue. Both this and the theatrical poster of her sitting in what used to be President Snow’s chair were released days after the posters that show the rest of Katniss’ rebellion crew looking ready for war.

With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss confronts President Snow [Donald Sutherland] in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale [Liam Hemsworth], Finnick [Sam Claflin], and Peeta [Josh Hutcherson] – Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to liberate the citizens of Panem, and stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her. The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 stars Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss Everdeen), Josh Hutcherson (Peeta Mellark), Liam Hemsworth (Gale Hawthorne), Woody Harrelson (Haymitch Abernathy), Elizabeth Banks (Effie Trinket), Julianne Moore (President Coin), Philip Seymour Hoffman (Plutarch Heavensbee), Natalie Dormer (Cressida), Jenna Malone (Joanna Mason), Willow Shields (Primrose Everdeen), Jeffrey Wright (Beetee), Sam Claflin (Finnick Odair), Jena Malone (Johanna Mason), with Stanley Tucci (Caesar Flickerman), and Donald Sutherland (President Snow).
