‘Ghostbusters’ Director Paul Feig Reveals New Ecto-1

Ghostbusters director Paul Feig has given fans a look at the (old) new whip that the ladies will drive in the upcoming reboot.

Feig simply tweeted out a picture of the new Ecto-1 with the caption “#whattheygonnadrive.”

The director has been making sure to keep fans abreast on the details they want to know about during the production of the reboot. Just last week he revealed the new ghostbusting suits and proton packs that the ladies would be rocking.

The original starred Bill Murray, Dan Akyroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson and so far, all of the gadgets and outfits we’ve seen look like they’re being kept as close to the quality of the original as possible, which hopefully calms the nerves of naysayers.

The movie stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones as the supernatural fighting quartet. Chris Hemsworth joined the cast in a supporting lead role as “assistant to the band of ghostbusting gals “who nobody wants to work with” and it was announced yesterday that SNL alum Neil Casey would take on the role of the film’s villain.

Ghostbusters is scheduled to hit theaters July 22, 2016.
