MTV Reveals Return of ‘Scream’ Star Bella Thorne at Comic-Con 2015


It looks like Scream fans will get to learn a little more about murdered Queen Bee Nina Patterson, because MTV announced that Bella Thorne’s character will be making a return to the series.

Thorne’s character endured a bloody, bikini-clad death at the hands of the killer in episode one, and her return was announced during the show’s first Comic-Con panel. Her character will be heading back in the form of a mysterious flashback in an all-new episode .airing Tuesday, August 25th.

The panel featured cast members Thorne, Willa Fitzgerald, Amadeus Serafini, John Karna, Connor Weil; Executive Producers Jill Blotevogel and Jaime Paglia; and moderator Jarret Wieselman of Buzzfeed.

If you’re out at Comic-Con, be sure to stop by MTV’s Scream booth on the convention center floor. The booth (#3729) will be open Saturday, July 11th from 3:30pm to 5:30pm, where you can attend signings with special appearances by cast members. As if that’s not enough, the booth will also feature activations where fans can experience their own bloody death with a photo booth based off of Scream.

The next new episode airs Tuesday at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.Next week, Emma learns that her mother has been keeping more secrets just as the Killer challenges her to a dangerous game.
