Virginia Madsen Joins ‘Red Riding Hood’

Virginia Madsen (The Haunting in Connecticut) has joined the cast of ‘Red Riding Hood’. Madsen will play the mother of Amanda Seyfried’s character. Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight) will direct the film, which includes a cast featuring Amanda Seyfried, Shiloh Fernandez, Max Irons, Julie Christie, Gary Oldman and Lukas Haas. Red Riding Hood will be a horror re-imagining of the Little Red Riding Hood fairy tale, and is set for a March 11th, 2011 release date.
