‘The X-Files’ New Teaser Wants to Make a Believer Out of You

Mulder and Scully are back (and looking like they never left!) in the new teaser for The X-Files limited event.

The new look at the return of the classic series premiered during last night’s episode of Wayward Pines and is the teaser-iest teaser we’ve seen in a while.

Glimpses of Mulder and Scully, peeking around corners and pointing their guns, a sign on the ground that says “I want to believe”, people being dragged away and into a van, a gnarly looking medical tool and/or torture device…all mysterious shots fans can mull over until the show’s return.

The series will see the return of originals stars Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny, as FBI Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, Mitch Pileggi (Walter Skinner) and William B. Davis (The Smoking Man). X-Files production vets Glen Morgan and James Wong are also confirmed to return writers-producers. It was also previously announced that Joel McHale will guest star.

The X-Files limited event will debut with a special two-night event beginning Sunday, Jan. 24 (10:00-11:00 PM ET/7:00-8:00 PM PT).
