Scott Weinger’s Bringing Steve Back for ‘Fuller House’

If you watched Full House, there’s no way you don’t remember DJ’s long-time boyfriend Steve. He was sweet, goofy, fun and we all felt the pain when the two decided their relationship had run its course.

Well, it looks like DJ and Steve remained close through the years, because Scott Weinger announced via Twitter today that he would be returning as Steve in the Full House continuation Fuller House.

We don’t know what Steve’s return means for DJ exactly, since we know the show picks up after she’s been recently widowed, but knowing that her first love will be around to help her through a tough time gives us faith in TV love again.

After Full House, Weinger continued his acting career, taking on voice actor roles, his most famous being the voice of Aladdin in the classic Disney film of the same name and basically anything featuring Aladdin that’s come out since. He’s also a TV writer, with credit including comedies Galavant and Black-ish, among others.
