Lily Rabe Returning to ‘American Horror Story’ in Killer New Role

American Horror Story alum Lily Rabe will be returning to the upcoming installment of the show in a role that’s to die kill for.

Rabe is one of the few AHS talents to have appeared in all four seasons of the show, most recently reprising her Asylum character Sister Mary Eunice for last season’s Freak Show. This year she’ll take on the alter ego of a famous serial killer who was a guest at the hotel, according to Entertainment Weekly

The actress is no amateur at playing bad, having been one of the main antagonists of the show’s second season Asylum, when her aforementioned character, a nun named Sister Mary Eunice, became possessed by the Devil himself. Fans of the show will remember how deliciously evil she was and how well she walked the line between sympathetic innocent and pure evil. It should be interesting to see her step back into the dark side.

Rabe will join fellow AHS vets Angela Bassett as Ramona, Evan Peters as Mr. March, Sarah Paulson as Hypodermic Sally, Kathy Bates as Iris, Matt Bomer as Donovan, Denis O’Hare, Chloe Sevigny, Wes Bentley, and last season’s breakout star Finn Wittrock, along with newbies Lady Gaga, Cheyenne Jackson, Max Greenfield and Richard T. Jones as Detective Hahn.

Prepare to check into American Horror Story: Hotel when it premieres on FX in October.
