The ‘Deadpool’ Teaser Trailer Is All You Need In Life

Deadpool fans may have to wait one more day before the release of the film’s first trailer, but the trailer for the trailer FOX released today should hold them over pretty well.

Ryan Reynolds dons the red suit in the promo and gives us his best movie trailer guy voice, while making fun of himself and the upcoming film. From lines like “From the studio that inexplicably sewed his f*$king mouth shut the first time,” to referring to himself as “five-time Academy Award viewer Ryan Reynolds”, the new trailer trailer is chock-full of the snark we expect from the mercenary.

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

The film stars Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, T.J. Miller, Gina Carano and Brianna Hildebrand.

Deadpool heads to theaters February 12, 2016.
