The ‘Deadpool’ Trailer Is Here (and It’s Everything We Hoped It Would Be)

The Deadpool trailer has finally been released and the masses may already have a new favorite Marvel film.

Ryan Reynolds stars as the “Merc with the Mouth”, given a second lease on life on the condition that he uses his powers for good…and boy is it good. It’s always fun to watch superheroes beat up bad guys, but when you have a superhero with a mean sense of humor (and great taste in music, apparently)…that kicks it up a notch or ten.

Reynolds himself debuted the trailer via Twitter last night:

Check out the hilarious, action-packed trailer below!

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

The film stars Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, T.J. Miller, Gina Carano and Brianna Hildebrand.

Deadpool heads to theaters February 12, 2016!
