‘The Strain’ Sneak Peek- Episode 2.05: Quick and Painless

We’ll be seeing different sides of Eph and Nora in the upcoming episode of The Strain.

Last week the pair found out that their virus indeed worked, spreading among a nest of vamps and infecting them all. Unfortunatley, The Master, who can see through all of his vampires, realized that it worked as well, and willed all of the infected strigoi to commit suicide in order to protect the rest of their kind.

In the next episode, Eph is ready to take his vamp killing-virus all the way to Washington D.C. (which, have they even noticed what’s going on here?! why aren’t they already involved in this entire situation?! But I digress…) I think fans can look forward to seeing Corey Stoll in his natural, bald state sans terrible hairpiece (judging from the “Eph changes his appearance” portion of the synopsis…plus Del Toro previously revealed that the ‘piece wasn’t permanent).

While Eph is away, Nora get stuck with babysitting duty for angsty Zack, who really only wants his mother (and vice versa)…so that should be interesting.

Eph changes his appearance to leave the city while Nora is left as the reluctant parent for Zack. Dutch and Nora make a deal with Justine to secure Fet’s release from jail.
