‘The Strain’ Star Corey Stoll Gets New Look in Sunday’s Episode

Eph is getting a new look in Sunday night’s episode of The Strain.

The network revealed this photo of Corey Stoll’s character with much more Corey Stoll-like hair. In the episode, Eph has decided to go incognito in order to make his way to Washington with his strigoi-killing infection.

The show’s creator Guillermo del Toro previously told fans that the hairpiece wasn’t a permanent thing (and we don’t think anyone minded). “If you know the books or where it’s heading, we needed the character to change his look, to be able to mix into the normal population without being seen,” del Toro explained to the Television Critics Association last summer. “We needed him to have a look that could be altered…and unless he grows a beard or has an eye patch, we needed somewhere for him to go.”
