Tracy Morgan, Miley Cyrus and Amy Schumer to Open 41st Season of ‘SNL’

Saturday Night Live already has some impressive names lined up for its 41st season return, including the return of Tracy Morgan to the SNL stage, Miley Cyrus and the hilarious Amy Schumer.

The season kicks off on Oct. 3 with Miley Cyrus returning as host for a third time, following her turn as host of the MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 30.

Next up will be funny-woman of the hour Amy Schumer, who’ll make her hosting debut. Schumer’s comedy Trainwreck was one of the breakout hits of the summer and she has an upcoming comedy special, Amy Schumer: Live From the Apollo, premiering Oct. 17.

Tracy Morgan will return to Studio 8H on Oct. 17 for his second time as host. The return is a big deal for Morgan. The comedian was injured in a terrible accident in June 2014, when a limousine he was a passenger in collided with a Wal-Mart superstore truck driven by Kevin Roper in New Jersey.

Morgan was a cast member on SNL for 7 seasons and received an Emmy nomination for his role on the award-winning comedy series 30 Rock.
