Syfy’s ‘Incorporated’ Adds Dennis Haysbert

Dennis Haysbert has joined the cast of Syfy’s new futuristic espionage thriller Incorporated.

The Hollywood Reporter broke the news, revealing that Haysbert will play Julian,”the head of security and probably the most feared person at SPIGA headquarters. Part detective and part grand inquisitor, Julian is a tenacious investigator with an uncanny ability to sniff out moles and traitors in the company.”

Incorporated, which is being produced Matt Damon and Ben Affleck’s Pearl Street Productions, is set in a future where companies have seemingly unlimited power, and is the story of one man’s efforts to beat the system. Ben Larson, a young executive, is willing to risk everything he knows in order to infiltrate the all-controlling corporate world and save the woman he loves. In the process, he will take on the entire system — with deadly consequences.

Haysbert joins previously announced stars Sean Teale (Reign), Georgina Haig (Once Upon a Time) and Eddie Ramos (Teen Wolf).

Incorporated fits in with Syfy’s strategy to create bold and distinctive sci-fi fantasy drama and joins the network’s roster of high-profile scripted and development projects, including the recently-announced series pickup of The Magicians, based on Lev Grossman’s best-selling books; the December’s 10-part series The Expanse ; Arthur C. Clarke’s mini-series Childhood’s End, also set to premiere this December; David Goyer’s Superman prequel, Krypton; and over-the-top scripted series Blood Drive.
