Former ‘One Tree Hill’ Star James Lafferty to Direct Season Two Episode of ‘The Royals’

Former One Tree Hill actor turned director James Lafferty is taking his talents to the set of The Royals to direct an episode for their upcoming second season.

The star, best known for his role as Nathan Scott in the long-running series One Tree Hill, reunited with his OTH creator Mark Schwahn, also the creator of The Royals, to direct an upcoming season two episode.

The actor/director made a social media post confirming his involvement with the production saying, “Thank you Mark Schwahn and every last one of the talented, hardworking cast and crew of @theroyalsone, for letting me be part of their well-deserved 2nd season. Tune. In.”

“It’s going to be a very, very intense season,” James told E! Online about what fans can expect from the show’s new season. “There’s a lot happening and it moves very quickly. It’s going to be one of those seasons where you’re not going to want to miss an episode.”

The Royals returns to E! Sunday, November 15 at 10:00pm ET/PT.
