The new season of Arrow will see the vigilante try to take his romance to the next step, while fighting off new big bad, Damien Darhk.

In the trailer we see that Oliver came thiiiiiis close to popping the question to Felicity when all of a sudden, destiny calls in the form of his sister and ex-girlfriend. Awkward! Of course our hero can’t resist going back to the crime-fighting life, and in the new trailer fans get to see what he’ll be up to when he returns, including sporting some new digs and trying to stay one step ahead of villain Damien Darhk.

Take a look at the action-packed trailer below:

Fans can look forward to plenty of new faces in the upcoming season of Arrow including Parker Young, who will play Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) sister Thea’s (Willa Holland) new love interest; Echo Kellum as DC superhero Mister Terrific; Neal McDonough as Damien Darhk; Jimmy Akingbola as DC Comics villain Baron Reiter (AKA Baron Blitzkrieg) and Rutina Wesley in a mystery role.

It was also recently announced that Matt Ryan aka Constantine will be making an appearance in the show’s new season.

If you haven’t already, take a look at the awesome sizzle reel that debuted during Dragon Con last weekend as well.

Arrow returns to The CW on October 7th.
