• Fist Fight, starring Charlie Day and Ice Cube, will shoot in the state starting in October.

• Ben Affleck will be back again! His new film Live By Night is set to shoot on the “1300 block of Newcastle Street and parts of Grant Street in Brunswick, GA”

• More Marvel is headed our way! Thor: Ragnarock will shoot in the city at Pinewood Studios in 2016

• Chris Evans’ new film Gifted will shoot in Savannah and production is looking for crew members and vendors

• Clint Eastwood’s film about Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, starring Tom Hanks, will film in Georgia.

• Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will film in Atlanta beginning in Feb 2016 (the exact date is allegedly Feb 15th)

• Lee Daniels is developing Star,a new TV series for FOX that will be based in, and more than likely film in, Atlanta

• Will Packer is developing a TV show for NBC called Buckhead, that will be filmed, you guessed it, in Buckhead.

• Daniel Radcliffe’s new film Young Americans is heading here to film in October

• HBO has ordered a full season of Brothers in Atlanta, so look out for that to begin shooting in the state in the near future

• The Walking Dead has been shooting on Cove Rd in Manchester all week

• Mother’s Day filmed in Decatur this week and used an, um, interesting prop for a scene. They were also spotted at Wilton Dr and Plainview Dr in Decatur.

• Basecamp for Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt’s new film Passengers was spotted near the Fox Theatre in Atlanta

• MTV series Finding Carter filmed at Ponce De Leon Parkway and Oakdale Dr in Decatur

• Outkast’s own Big Boi put on a surprise concert for Whiskey Park guests (where were we?!)

• Jennifer Lawrence is officially in town! She’ll be here for the next few weeks filming her movie Passengers (co-starring Chris Pratt!)

‘THE ORIGINALS’ MULTIPLE CASTINGS FOR TUES 9/29 Thanksgiving Festival scene!! Casting for MEN and WOMEN, ages 18 to 75, all ethnicities for another cool, fun Nola Festival scene in our French Quarter set in CONYERS, GA This should be a fun mix of the following types: NOLA LOCAL / ARTSY & COOL types, TOURIST types to be festival goers ATHLETIC / PHYSICALLY FIT TYPES to be runners!! In the scene some people are running a very short, light hearted marathon with a Thanksgiving theme. A few will be costumed. If you have running/athletic ability, please note that in your submission but please be aware this will not be an intense run. Experience will be helpful for types/attire mainly. IMPORTANT NOTES Filming in CONYERS, and start time will be early morning and will work all day.
