‘Supergirl’ Adds Henry Czerny as Toyman

Former Revenge star Henry Czerny has been tapped to play supervillain Toyman in the highly anticipated new CBS series Supergirl.

Comicbook.com broke the news, reporting that Czerny is currently only set to appear in one episode as the supervillain who also turns out to be the father of Jeremy Jordan’s Winn Schott.

“Winslow Schott, Sr. is a classic D.C. supervillain, a mad criminal genius known as Toyman – and Winn’s estranged father. Toyman weaponizes toys to wreak destruction and revenge but is ultimately driven by one thing – the obsessive desire to reunite with his beloved son.”

There is no word yet on when Czerny will be making his Supergirl premiere.

The series follows Kara Zor-El/Supergirl who escaped Krypton amid its destruction years ago, hiding the powers she shares with her famous cousin, Superman, since arriving on Earth. Now, at age 24, as she decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and become the hero she was always meant to be.

Supergirl flies to CBS tonight, October 26, at a special time of 8:30/7:30c, and will then air at it’s regular timeslot of Mondays at 8/7c.
