‘Suicide Squad’ Stars Jared Leto and Cara Delevingne Show Off Villainous Makeovers for ‘Empire’

Jared Leto and Cara Delevingne are letting their freak flags fly for Empire as two of the larger than life villains heading to the big screen in Suicide Squad.

In the film, Leto plays iconic Batman villain Joker, while Delevingne stuns as the mysterious, but powerful sorceress Enchantress and it seems like both actors had to go to some pretty dark places to get into the heads of their characters.

With regards to his experience while playing the Joker, Leto told Empire, “There was definitely a period of…detachment,” Leto explains. “I took a pretty deep dive. But this was a unique opportunity and I couldn’t imagine doing it another way. It was fun, playing those psychological games. But at the same time it was very painful, like giving birth out of my prick hole.”

“June is an adventure seeker who’s always wanted some excitement,” she told Empire about her character June Moon aka Enchantress. “And she gets what she wished for, but in a terrible way. At the start of the movie she discovers a cavern and finds…something…within.”

“She’s an ancient sorceress,” she continued. “A feral being. She’s been trapped for so long and know she’s finally let out.”

Are you ready to see Jared Leto and Cara Delevigne’s full transformations?

Suicide Squad stars Will Smith as assassin Deadshot, Jared Leto as Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller and many more.
