Here’s your Atlanta Weekly Filming Roundup covering the week of November 8th-November 14th, including sightings for The Walking Dead, Powers  and more!

Coming Soon

  • Jermaine Dupree and Queen Latifah’s new Lifetime series The Rap Game will film in Atlanta
  • A Tupac biopic, All Eyez On Me, is set to shoot in the state soon and are looking for crew members
  • More Marvel is (maybe) headed our way! Thor: Ragnarock was scheduled to shoot in the city at Pinewood Studios in 2016, but it’s also been confirmed that it will film in Australia (no word on what that means for Atlanta)
  • Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will film in Atlanta beginning in Feb 2016 (the exact date is allegedly Feb 15th) and casting calls have begun (see below)!
  • Will Packer is developing a TV show for NBC called Buckhead, that will be filmed, you guessed it, in Buckhead.

Currently In Production

  • Ben Affleck’s film Live By Night shot at Jekyll Island this week and has now wrapped and will be moving to Massachusetts.
    • The Walking Dead was spotted filming at Old Griffin Rd in Hampton, GA

 

    • Signs for Powers (Sic ‘Em) were seen near the 85N exit to Jimmy Carter Blvd

  • The cast of ATL was spotted chilling out together, so fans of the film can only hope that the sequel is gaining traction
  • Gilmore Girls and Switched at Birth star Vanessa Marano is in town filming The Originals
