‘SNL’ Alums Tina Fey and Amy Poehler Returning as Co-Hosts

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are heading back to their old stomping grounds to serve as co-hosts for an upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live.

The duo will return to host the sketch comedy series on December 19th, with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band appearing as the show’s musical guest. Is anyone else as excited as we are to get a Poehler-Fey “Weekend Update”?!

Fey and Poehler’s appearance is timely, since the pair are co-starring in the upcoming comedy Sisters as a two siblings whose trip home to clean out their childhood rooms turns into the party of a lifetime. Sisters heads to theaters December 18th.

Fey has returned to host the show four times since her 2006 departure, and Poehler has hosted once her exit from the show in 2008.

Also set to make December SNL appearances are Ryan Gosling and musical guest Leon Bridges (Dec. 5), and Chris Hemsworth and musical guest Chance the Rapper (Dec. 12).

This will mark Gosling’s first time hosting and Hemsworth’s second (he first took the helm this past March).
