The CW Orders More Episodes of ‘iZombie’ and ‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’

Fans of iZombie and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend will be excited to learn that The CW has again ordered more episodes of both comedies, extending their current seasons.

The network ordered 5 additional scripts of both series back in October and now they’ve ordered five more episodes of Crazy Ex and six more episodes of iZombie, bringing iZombie‘s season 2 total to 19, and Crazy Ex‘s premiere season to a total of 18 episodes.

iZombie returns with a new episode December 1st and will put Detective Babineaux (Malcolm Goodwin) in the spotlight when he realizes that his most recent crime scene victim, a wedding planner, is a former flame…and she stalked him. Yeah, not good. On the bright side, we’ll get to see Liv (Rose McIver) and Ravi (Rahul Kohli) pose as an engaged couple to help solve her murder.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend heads back to the network on November 30th, with guest star Tovah Feldshuh (The Walking Dead) visiting as Rebecca’s (Rachel Bloom) mother, who decides to visit her daughter for the holidays. As Rebecca tries her hardest to please her mom (which involves some fibbing along the way), everything spins out of control (as things usually do when lies are involved).
