The Stars Were Out in Full Force at the ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ LA Premiere

Fans are counting down the hours until they’re sitting in the theater watching the premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens! In the meantime, we can get excited over the amazing coverage of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens LA premiere which happened last night!

Gwendoline Christie portrays villain Captain Phasma in the sci-fi picture, but she looked anything but sinister at the movie’s debut in a fluffy, off-white Oscar de la Renta dress. Her floor-length décolleté gown featured several unique touches, including a black ribbon that accentuated her gorgeous neckline and disparate asymmetrically cut material covering her legs – which had the effect of making the bottom of the dress flair out.

Actress Lupita Nyong’o, who lends her voice to extraterrestrial CGI character Maz Kanata, donned a spectacular silver sequined gown which sparkled as she posed on the red carpet. As photographers snapped pictures of the stunning star, her gown twinkled with the flash of the cameras.

The 32 year old wanted to feel out of this world while celebrating the debut of the film, telling reporters of her starry-eyed mindset while choosing the dress, “I thought I’d bring the galaxy with me”.

Lupita completed her spaced out look with Chopard jewelry, giving the brand a nod via her Instagram account before the event took place.

Leading lady Daisy Ridley, Rey in the flick, did not fail to disappoint in a feminine, white Chloé gown that featured several layers of polka dots and sheer fabric all contributing to the illusion of her floating in the clouds.

The stunning actresses had their red carpet style competition cut out for them on the night, as several bionic beings also made an appearance, including legendary androids R2-D2 and C-3PO.
