Pretty Little Liars‘s Lucy Hale has a super-speedy beauty routine, but when it comes skincare, she takes extra care of her sensitive skin. Off-duty she’ll take just 10 minutes to wake up and leave the house, but when it comes to looking after her complexion, she cuts no corners.

“My skincare routine takes a little bit of time, because I have sensitive skin,” she explained to Into the Gloss. “I’m a big believer in Dr. Lancer’s products – he has a lotion, an exfoliator, and a face wash. At the end of a long day, wiping my make-up off and feeling so clean, it’s the best feeling in the world. And Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipe can take anything off without irritating me. Go to bed in clean sheets with a clean face, your Mario Badescu Drying Lotion on, and you’re good to go.”

Lucy, 26, used to rock long locks but went for the chop and now sports a shoulder-length crop. Just like her make-up routine, her hairstyling doesn’t take up much time.

“For hair, I used to give myself a blowout and curl it, and that got exhausting, it’s a lot of work,” she admitted. “Now I’ll let my hair air-dry because I like my natural texture. I have thick hair with a little bit of a wave and it’s heavy. It gets oil build up in it really easily, so I have to have a clarifying shampoo – I use Fekkai Apple Cider Shampoo. I only wash my hair three times a week, and I swear on my life, Blow Pro Faux Dry is the best. For brunettes it’s hard to find dry shampoo because it makes your hair chalky, but this soaks everything right up without doing that.”

Lucy Hale returns to the small screen on January 12 with the Pretty Little Liars winter season premiere! Will you be watching?
