January 2016 Atlanta Filming: Coming Soon

• Fast 8 will be shooting in Atlanta
• 20th Century Fox’s Hidden Figures will shoot in Atlanta from March 14 – May 13.
• Tyler Perry’s A Madea Halloween is filming in Atlanta.
• The Baywatch movie will be filming in Savannah this March and April. The film stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Zac Efron.
• Miles Teller’s latest project, Thank You for Your Service will film in Atlanta
• Edgar Wright’s new film Baby Driver will film in Atlanta (The film stars Jon Hamm, Jamie Foxx, Kevin Spacey, Lily James, and Ansel Elgort)
• It’s confirmed that the new Spider-Man will film in Atlanta
• Jermaine Dupree and Queen Latifah’s new Lifetime series The Rap Game will film in Atlanta
• A Tupac biopic, All Eyez On Me, is set to shoot in the state soon and are looking for crew members
• Rumors are circling that we might land  Jurassic World 2
• Donald Glover’s FX comedy Atlanta was picked up for a full season and will film here in the near future
• Lee Daniels’ new series Star will shoot in Atlanta beginning this month!
• Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will film in Atlanta beginning in February 2016 (the exact date is rumored to be Feb 15th)
• Will Packer is developing a TV show for NBC called Buckhead, and that will be filmed, you guessed it, in Buckhead!
• Daniel Radcliffe’s new film Young Americans is heading to Atlanta to film

• CW’s The Originals filmed on Thursday on Commercial St, Olde Town, Conyers

Atlanta Celebrity Sightings

• Marlon Wayans was in town on Monday to promote Fifty Shades of Black – Look for our interview with him coming soon on FanBolt!
• 3 of the men (John “Tig” Tiegen, Mark “Oz” Geist, and Kris “Tanto” Paronto) that the new film 13 Hours is base on came through Atlanta today to do press for the film (which releases in theaters today). Look for our interview withe John, Mark, and Kris coming tomorrow!

Atlanta Casting Calls

'THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE' CASTING IN ATLANTA It is very important to the director and I that we make these scenes as authentic as possible. The script will bring to light many of the issues (PTSD) that some soldiers face on their return from war. It's a story that needs to be told and we want to do it in the best possible way. I have included more info below on the novel and script. The two major scenes that we are seeking veterans for are: There are some smaller scenes but we will check all your availability once you have decided that you are interested. 1) Soldiers' plane ride home from Iraq 2) VA hospital 1) The Plane scene at this time will shoot on Feb 8th. We will shoot a different portion of the scene (on the tarmac) on Feb 17th, so ideally you would be able to work both days! These dates could change and in the movie industry, they often do. We are seeking younger veterans and active duty for this scene. Ages 18-30 Feb 8th – Plane Scene will shoot at the Delta Museum in Atlanta Feb 17th – Tarmac will shoot in Kennesaw 2) For the VA scene, we are seeking ALL ages 18 and up. As of now this scene shoots Feb 9th and/or Feb12th. Again this could change as well. We will shoot in the Emory Hospital area. If you are interested in being apart of this project, then this is what I need: Please email [email protected] Please send us some CURRENT pictures of you now. We would love to see some ones from your military days, too, just so I can get a better feel. List your age, what years you served, and if you served in a war, please list it/them.
