Lauren Cohan

The Walking Dead’s Lauren Cohan is confirmed to play Martha Wayne in Batman V. Superman which comes out this March. IMDB has added Cohan’s name to the cast list for the film, and Cohan also retweeted the news on Twitter.

What we really love about the casting of Bruce Wayne’s mother as Lauren Cohan, is that her husband, Thomas Wayne, will be played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who of course has been cast as Negan in The Walking Dead. Fans of The Walking Dead comic will surely see the irony in that.

While you don’t see Lauren Cohan in the above trailer, it’s impressive that her role has been kept under wraps for so long!

Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice also stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Amy Adams as Lois Lane. Appearances from Laurence Fishburne as Clark Kent’s boss Perry White and Diane Lane as his mother Martha Kent are also expected, not to mention the supposed introduction of Jason Mamoa as Aquaman.

The film opens March 25, 2016!
