Keeping Up with the Kardashians Back In March

E! brings viewers back into the glamorous and chaotic world of the Kardashian family when the third season of the hit series “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” premieres Sunday, March 8 at 10:00 pm ET/PT.

Although the family has always been steadfast in their devotion to each other, this season the intensity of living in the spotlight presents new challenges for the group. As Kim, Khloe and Kourtney advance in their professional careers, their growing fame gives new meaning to sibling rivalry and relations between the three tight-knit sisters are tested. Their increased exposure also brings added pressure to their personal lives as they deal with the fact that they are under even more scrutiny from the press. Mom and manager Kris is often caught in the middle, trying to balance between working through family dynamics and keeping everyone’s careers on track.

In the first episode, Khloe receives a harsh reality check when she is sent to prison for not completing her required DUI classes. The negative buzz from the press surrounding her jail time makes her more reclusive and it is only through the urging and emotional support of her sisters that she is able to get out of bed and out the door. For Kris, going back to the courthouse brings up old memories of her ex-husband Robert Kardashian, and she finds herself struggling to come to terms with his death. With encouragement from Bruce and her own mother, Kris heads to the cemetery to visit Robert’s gravesite and hopefully find some peace.

Life for the Kardashians this season is filled with ups and downs as each member struggles to find their place in the chaotic household. Kim is wary from her previous dancing experience and wants to back-out of her performance with the Pussy Cat Dolls the night before the event. However, her sister’s convince her to go and the three head out to paint Vegas red. Khloe has always longed for a different body and looks into plastic surgery, but when PETA comes calling with an offer to do a nude photo shoot, she has the opportunity to believe in herself as much as everyone else does. Eldest sister Kourtney comes into her own when she books her first cover shoot for a magazine, but she is furious when Kris misses the shoot to be with Kim at an appearance in San Diego and stops speaking to them both.

This season, the fun-loving and social butterfly Kris discovers she must find new ways to spend quality time with Bruce away from the Hollywood hotspots he loathes. At first she tries to join him in what he loves to do, but after crashing his favorite mechanical helicopter she is at a loss for ideas. At daughter Kylie’s suggestion, Kris takes him on a motorcycle ride in the canyons of Los Angeles for a new kind of adventure. Meanwhile, youngest son Robert, Jr. and his girlfriend Adrienne Bailon of “The Cheetah Girls” are also working on their own relationship after they move to the next level and get a place together. The two lovebirds soon find out that sharing a household isn’t as easy as he imagined it would be.
