John Carpenter’s “The Ward” Ready to Role

According to reports, Danielle Panabaker (Friday the 13th) has signed on for John Carpenter’s next film, The Ward. Amber Heard has already signed on to star in the film.

The Ward is about a young girl (Heard), who is put into a psych ward, meets other girls with distinct personalities, and comes to realize that there someone haunting the place. Panabaker will play one of the other patients, a snobby girl who has to undergo electro shock and tends to flirt with the orderlies. Mamie Gummer (Taking Woodstock) has also been cast as a female patient.

Filming will begin next month in Spokane, Washington.
