‘The Conjuring 2’ Review: A Haunting, Supernatural Thriller

Director James Wan brings another real case from the files of renowned demonologists, Lorraine and Ed Warren, to the big screen in what is 2016’s most chilling supernatural thriller to date. Returning to their roles, Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson star as Lorraine and Ed in The Conjuring 2, and they’re headed to north London to determine if the spirit haunting a single mother and her four children is in fact legit.

If you’re a fan of the first The Conjuring, you’ll be a fan of this one as well. Farmiga and Wilson do a fantastic job, the special effects are creepy good, and the film, for the most part, moves at a rather fast pace – delivering the perfect amount of jump scares.

Overall, I loved it… despite all the nightmares it has caused in the nights since the screening.
