‘New Moon’ To Premiere In Knoxville, Tennessee
It has been confirmed by Knoxville.Com that ‘New Moon’ will be premiering in Knoxville, Tennessee. The Regal Entertainment Group will be holding the event at Regal Cinemas’ Pinnacle 18 at Turkey Creek. The premiere is tentatively scheduled to occur before the film’s November 20th nationwide release date – making it one of two places that will be showing the film early.
The premiere will be a fundraising venture to support Variety – The Children’s Charity of Eastern Tennessee. Regal has held similiar events in Knoxville before. In 2008, ‘Journey to the Center of the Earth’ premiered there bringing around $300,000 in ticket sales and endorsements.
The ‘Twilight’ guest list for the event isn’t yet confirmed. Promoters are working on getting Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, and Kristen Stewart to attend.
Pack your bags and head down south ‘Twilight’ fans! Word has it that tickets will be sold directly to the public with “sponsorship” packages being available. This could be the chance you’ve been waiting for to see your favorite ‘Twilight’ stars in the flesh!
