Connor Cruise To Star In Red Dawn Remake

It is being reported that Tom Cruise’s 14 year old son will be taking a role as a Wolverine. Connor has joined the cast of the Red Dawn remake over at MGM/UA.

He will join Josh Hutcherson, Isabel Lucas and Edwin Hodge in the MGM/UA project. Already cast are Chris Hemsworth, Josh Peck and Adrianne Palicki.

Cruise will play the role of Daryl, originated by C. Thomas Howell. The young cast heads off in a few weeks for military training in an undisclosed location. Shooting will then begin in Detroit for a September 24, 2010 release, with Dan Bradley in the director’s chair.
