Star Trek Returns to IMAX

Star Trek will be getting an additional two-week run in almost 100 IMAX theaters. Due to theaters committing early to Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Star Trek’s first IMAX run was only two-weeks. Star Trek was released on May 8th, 2009 and has made $256.7 million domestic, along with $126.3 million internationally for a total take of $383.1 million. The film’s budget was $150 million.

  1. IMO you could keep Star Trek at IMAX until the next one comes out and it would probably make more money than Night at the Museum would ever make.
