‘Apaches’ Is Back on Track

Jerry Bruckheimer’s cop drama ‘Apaches’ looks to be on once again. Jerry Bruckheimer Films hired Sean O’Keefe and Will Staples to write the script, which is based off of the rogue cop novel by Lorenzo Carcaterra. Bruckheimer has been working on the film since 1997, when Disney acquired the book for the producer, with the goal to make a franchise out of it. But various attempts to make the book have failed. The script will loosely be based on the novel, which is the story of retired New York City police officers, who decide to form a rogue force to take down the most notorious bad guys in town. Carcaterra has written for ‘Law and Order’ in the past.
